turkish draughts (Dama)

hi guys ! i would like to implement a turkish draughts (Dama) game using maltab but i am a little bit confused about how to start and implement an AI as the game has to play against a human. this code will be used im my project which is a dama playing robot that plays against a human. i would appreciate your help for giving me any hints or links to some algorithm. and if you have any idea feel free to post them :$ Thank you
