Hi. I'd like to run a matlab function every day at 7am. Is there an easy way to do it (besides getting up early every morning)?

Hi,
in the case you are running Windows you can schedule a windows task:
So the task should start
matlab -r "your_mfile;quit"

And on a linux box the same can be done using "cron".

You may also want the -nodesktop and -nosplash startup options. You should also think about compiling your function.

Thanks all. Since I use Windows, I tried out Friedrich's solution which works fine.

I tried Friedrich's solution as well, and it works great. Thanks again.
