Who to rotate images of different angles to their vertical shape?

I have some images such as in the attached image named test5.jpg, I have selected every image separately. Now I want to get a vertical shape of each and every image so that I can recognize each number and rank. I want to try template matching, that is why I need the vertical shape of each letter or suit. Please help.
