how to set values for Popups options?

Hi everyone, I am having problems with the initialization of a parameter by means of popup mask in Matlab 2011b.

I want to set the parameter to TRUE or FALSE. I have added the parameter in the list Parameters and the two possible values into Type-specific options list. I have initialized TRUE and FALSE values in the workspace, but I cannot find how to read them inside the mask. It keeps giving the corresponding index as output value and not the value initialized in the ws.
