gname to display more than one label

I would like to know is there a way to display two labels for a point?

This command does not work

gname(car_model, car_year)

Can't you just concatenate them into 1 label?

label = [car_model, car_year];
gname(label)

It gives me errors thou:

Well, I don't know what 'car_model' and 'car_year' are, but if they were just chars then it should work fine

e.g.

a = 'Label1';
b = 'Label2';

c = [ a b ];
gname( c );

I was just giving some random examples in my question, for my case, the labels are in numbers (i think it is called 'double' in Matlab? not sure).

Any thoughts?

Well, you need to use num2str in that case. I assumed you had the case working of applying a single label and wanted to extend this to two labels.
