To install on Linux, open an terminal window and go to the folder where you have downloaded the connector.
Then add execution permission using, for example:
$ sudo chmod +x matlabconnector_1.6.1.2_glnxa64_installer.bin
then run the binary file:
$ ./matlabconnector_1.6.1.2_glnxa64_installer.bin
After several minutes of waiting, a GUI should open up where you can insert your MATLAB account, set up your local folder, and complete the installation. The matlab connector will then start to sync your files.
After the files have been synched you can access them in your local folder using MATLAB, a terminal, or your file manager. When you change a file locally, the most recent version of the file is uploaded to the cloud, and it then becomes available on other devices where you have installed MATLAB Drive connector.
