Incorporating Linear mixed effect model into Dacefit

My LME model is : y_i=XB+Z_ib_i+error where I have grouping variable. I have a manual covariance function which I want to incorporate into the model. I think If I can fit the LME model into dacefit it may work. Someone can give me any clue how can I incorporate LME into dacefit.
