Can I run a simulation within an ongoing simulation in simulink?

Hello! I have a simulation which requires, say n values, for a particular calculation in 1 sample time run. Now these n values can be obtained by running another simulation for 1000 sample times and it takes a single input from the current run. So I basically need to run a simulation within a simulation and then use its output values to continue the outer simulation. Is this possible with simulink?
