I made a plot and the markers are really ugly, does anyone know why my plot is doing this? (see plot below)

What changed about your system between the last time the markers looked "normal" and the first time they looked "bad"? Did you install an OS patch, update your graphics driver, and/or update MATLAB or install a newer release, etc.?
Does changing the figure's Renderer property change the appearance of the markers?
What OS and release of MATLAB are you using?

I am using Windows 7 and Matlab R2018a. I don't remember updating my graphics driver or matlab. I can try to change the render properties.
