We cannot connect the device when we convert our script to a function

We have a script that uses pico2000 series.

When we transform this script into a function, the

connect(ps2000DeviceObj)  

command does not work.

Can you tell us the reason ?

Rather than forcing us to guess, why don't you show us your code?

Perhaps after you read THIS LINK we might be able to. Until then about all I can guess is that the ps2000DeviceObj variable is not in scope, or you added input arguments to the function and just hit the green run triangle without calling it with the required arguments. Of course we'll know much, much more after you read the link.

What does "does not work" mean in this context?

• Does it throw an error? If so, what is the full text of that error message (everything displayed in red?)
• Does it issue a warning? If so, what is the full text of that warning message (everything displayed in orange?)
• Does it leave the ps2000DeviceObj object in a bad state, where you cannot interact with it?
• Does it do something else? If so, describe in detail what it does.
