For each data the first two data digits are constant for example if we consider

!U5æ01131B8B04CB18CE1DB0, !U is alwasys constant but the data after 2 bit may change.

1. I want an if condition so that name this as systemupdate, like if == !U then systemupdate = !U5æ01131B8B04CB18CE1DB0. I have to do it for all the other frames. like if == !E the Errordata = !E0000.Is it posiible?
2. Actually I have given the name directly to the fscanf, But i want it by using if

"the data after 2 bit may change" - do you mean "byte" instead of "bit"?

What is the wanted output for the posted inputs?

Actually the information I have provided is Rawdata Output of a RADAR. I always get 5 answers as given in the question.

Here comes the question, Instead of " ans = '!U5æ01131B8B04CB18CE1DB0 I want to have systemupdate = '!U5æ01131B8B04CB18CE1DB0.

I just want to replace all of the "ans" above to some other names like error, target, frame etc...by using if condition.

The only hint I have is the starting two digits of the each answer. For example if the ans starts with !U then it must be systemupdate, if it starts !E then it must be error and so on

I do not know, what a "RADAR" is. Please explain in which format or by which command you obtain these inputs. Are the "5 answers" one long char vector, or a {1 x 5} cell string?

is no valid Matlab syntax. Does the trailing dot belong to the data and is the leading quote the start of a CHAR vector or does it belong to the contents?

Actually the problem sounds not hard to solve, but the details matter and I cannot guess them reliably.

I actually use fscanf 5 times to get these 5 answers. I am confused which answer belongs to which fscanf. So I was checking if there is any possibility to give some IF condition to the code so that I can name the ans myself.

If you ignore them, I cannot assist you to solve your problem. I assume, that a solution needs some lines of code only, but at first you have to clarify, what the inputs are. "fscanf 5 times" means, that you know the answer. So please share this information.

If you want to know how this works, explain how you want to convert which input to which output. "a mixture of HEX and ASCII to binary and decimal" is to coarse to suggest some code. Remember that all HEX strings are ASCII coded chars also.

1. The problem is in the Out put instead of 'ans = ' can i give my own name, I tried this way giving five names to five fscanf and it worked.

Read the data into a temporary variable. Parse the data, detect whatever you want. Use a switch operator to assign the variable to the variables StatusInfo, RangeInfo, etc., or use a structure and define the fieldnames.
