extraction of validation data set

how can i extract validation data? train and test data are already arranged for the training and testing but we do not have to arrange vaidation set while using ANN in built function (in case of mine, Quasi Newton function). it will be gratful if anyone can help me out with this. from attched the figure i want to extract the validation data. thank you. :)
