Can I superimpose an image on a video in Matlab GUI?

Hi guys,
I've set up a live camera preview displayed in the GUI axis and I want to superimpose a semi-transparent image on top of the live video axis by clicking a button. Is that possible?

Yes, you can. Check this out:

I did exactly what you are asking following Steve site and works like charm.

Alex, I found that Steve's blog too but when I tried to set the Alpha value and display it on top of the video, it only showed up for a second then the image disappear. Any idea?
