Hello all,
This question has been asked many time.. but still many problems appear... I want to create a STAND ALONE application in matlab that runs on a computer that DOES NOT have matlab installed. (As this is the purpose of having a standalone application..). I used the 'deploytool' command and in the package bar i clicked on ADD MCR (not embedded). I created the package and everything is completed successfully.
Now i tried to run the package on the SAME computer that created it, and everything worked FINE (MCR installed, program running). I send the package to another computer.. but now the install DOES NOT even run.. i click on the MCRInstaller but i get an error saying "the system cannot find the path specified.. press any key to continue"
What am i doing wrong? Im spending HOURS on this and im totally wasting my time..
If someone knows how to help then PLEASE!

When you package it, you get a selfextracting exe. when you run this its extracted and a bat file should show up (_install.bat). Can you post the content of that bat file here please.

I know you know it's a frequently asked question but did you read the FAQ list at http://matlab.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ#My_standalone_executable_won.27t_run_on_the_target_computer._What_can_I_try.3F? If the answer is not on there, then call the Mathworks and report back here what the solution was so I can add it to the FAQ.
