Can't connect blocks in simulink

Hello.
I made an RC, RL, CR, LR and couple of RLC circuits in simulink with ac voltage source which by default generates a sinusoidal wave as an input and they are connected to the scope as an output so i can see the behaviour of the signal. My next task is to simulate the work of these filters by having a different signal shape like sawtooth or square wave. When i try to drag&drop some sawtooth or square wave generator and connect it with the rest of the circuit i get red dashed line which means that i cannot connect it to my circuit.
Please someone help me solve this problem, it is a bit urgent.
Thank you!

The block you are trying to connect produces a Signal as an output. You need to use a Controlled Voltage Source and provide the Signal Generator block to the signal input port of the Controlled Voltage Source.

The AC source you have used is https://www.mathworks.com/help/physmod/sps/powersys/ref/acvoltagesource.html from Simscape Electrical, Specialized Power Source. Simscape Electrical is layered on top of Simscape.
The Signal Generator you show highlighted is Simulink.
Simscape Specialized Power Source is, if I recall correctly, considered a different Domain than Simscape Electrical. But either way, even if it is not, Simscape is certainly considered a different Domain than Simulink. Different Domains cannot be connected except through conversion blocks.

Hello and thank you for answering.
I tried to put blocks you said it could work but still nothing, im still getting a red dashed line when i try to connect them. Do you know maybe why is that, what am i doing wrong so i cant connect that generator to my circuit?

Could you attach your model?

Sure.
Here they are, all of them. i can view on osciloscope atenuation of signals amplitude and phase shift, but i cant generate different signal shape on my input. I would appreciate your help on eather one of them and then i can apply that logic onto other filters.
Thank you for your time.

I do not seem to be having any success in figuring this out at the moment.

Really interesting problem, isnt it.
In any case, thank you again for your time. If you manage to figure it out please share your solution. I will keep trying to find a solution and if i come up with an answer i will share it with you.

you are trying to use the Simscape Electrical Specialized Power Systems sensor https://www.mathworks.com/help/physmod/simscape/ref/currentsensor.html
I have having difficulty finding some of the blocks that you use in the rest. One of the items looks like it might be Linear Inductor, which is from Simscape basic library, which is a different domain than SPS.
https://www.mathworks.com/help/physmod/simscape/ref/inductor.html
To advise you about proper sensor I will need more information about exactly which blocks you using.
