Dear simbiology community,
I am doing model fitting. Now I have DOSE in nanomole (amount), dependent variable (experimental values) in nanomolar (concentration), I wrote the differential equation dAdt=.... (change of amount)
Just want to make sure if nanomole in simbiology is a amount unit or a concentration unit? I put all values of capacity of compartment as 1, since I have another paramters representing volume and I do not want to mix them up. But when I wrote the algebra rule, I wrote species divided by volume parameters. Is that the correct way?
But I still got the error saying "dimentional analysis failed for reaction. Quantities of different dimension cannot be added or substracted".
I would appreciate if someone could answer this question.

Yes, nanomole is a unit with dimensions of amount, and nanomolar is a unit with dimensions of concentration.
Can you share your model? That would make it much easier for us to help you debug the problem.
