any easy way to get the index of line

Hi:

I have a set of lines and I plot them together, what I want to do, is to locate one line and then find its index, i.e. to know if this line is plotted from data1, data2, or some data else.

is there any easier way to do this?

Exactly how is the "locating" going to happen? Are you wanting to click on a line with the datatips tool?
