Grouping the Simulink.Parameter variables

Is it possible to group the Simulink.Parameters in the base workspace? Or move them to the model workspace? I do have about 1k parameters in the model, setting all them as Simulink.Parameter in the workspace causes MATLAB to work very slow and sometimes to crash. The parameters must be tunable through the xPC-API.

Why do you require 1000 parameters? It sounds high, but there is no limit to what someone may want or need to do. I ask because sometimes simplifying things is the best course of action.

You should be able to move to the model workspace pretty easy, but it probably won't change performance.
