I found an article which had a simulink model (2009 version) its attached as picture here. I just wanted to replicate that in my 2019 version, but im unable to do. Im not able to connect the motor and ps add devices together. Please help. I have attached my .slx model to. The HM mentioned in the picture is motor.

The variable displacement motor used in the model has a physical signal as output. Such physical signals have to be connected to a Mechanical sensor or source, as per the requirement of the model. You can explore the options in the
Simscape->Foundation library->Mechanical in the library browser.
Here are some links to better understand the component and few example for reference:

From my understandng I tried have connected ideal torque sensor to the output but you can explore the appropriate required component as per the model requirement. I have herby attached a snap of the motor connected to ideal torque sensor which then has a PS output that can be connected to the PS-Add block

Port C as I mentioned is a reference port, hence only a reference point, or frame can be connected to it. You can refer to the documentation for better understanding of the block and work of reference port.

I get a straight line in scope every time i run this model in simulink. Can someone please explain why i am not able to get any other readings other than straight line in scope?
