'Out of Memory' PDE Toolbox

Hiya,

I've got a complex 3D geometry set up to measure diffusion across a space. It needs to be finely meshed to be able to rule out the possibility that my results are due to the display by PDE Toolbox - i.e. unfortunately I need to use a specific mesh size.

I'm getting an 'Out of Memory' error - unexpectedly given that my mesh has 1.6 million nodes, and will be plotting over a tlist of size 1001.

Would anybody have any tips of how I could combat this?

My system has 16GB and 32GB available to MATLAB - I'm not sure if I could increase this virtually, or do I need to be asking my University for access to a machine designed to deal with this size of dataset?
