What are the basic software/hardware requirement for generating exe of a simmulink model on MATLAB 2011B 64bit version?

we have matlab 2011b 64bit version with simulink coder(RTW). we have installed SDK 7.1 compiler. There are different option under system target ex- grt.tlc & grt_malloc.tlc. we were able to generate exe selecting these option for generic type description. But we were not able to generate exe for visual c/c++ description. After installing visual studio on the same system we can generate exe for visual c/c++ description also.

so I want to know what are the basic software required to generate exe for different options given for build under code generation?
