How to design a data kernel of two point average?

Hi everyone,

I am working on the data kernels for different wighting functions. The code and the output shown below is a data krnal for 3 point weighting average. This can be generalized to 5, 7 etc easily. But, I am unable to modify this for two point weighting averages. May someone help em how can I modify this.
