How to determine how much RAM is available?

I'm currently working on a tool designed to read in files and do stuff to the files, and the likelihood that it will eventually eat up all of the ram is quite high.

feature memstats is lying to me and telling me I have over 100TB, which is 500 times what I expect to have.

Does anyone have a method of determining how much ram is available, both with or without the pagefile?

If it makes a difference, I'm using 19b
