How to match features

I have detected features points using surf from
for cameraman images,i have used command
showMatchedFeatures(I1,I2,matched_pts1,matched_pts2);
but it is not working,am using r2012 a,please tell how to find teh matched feature points of two images

After having detected SURF feature descriptors from both images, you should call the matchFeatures routine (which was available in R2012a) to find matching image features. The returned output is a Px2 matrix with every row corresponds to a feature match between features in the first image and the second.
You can use the cvexShowMatches helper function to visualize the feature matching. Look at the first example in the documentation for matchFeatures linked above to see the usage.

This showMatchedFeatures feature was available only in MATLAB R2013a and not in any lower versions.
