USB Pedal / foot switch with MATLAB?

Hi,

i have a program which works with keyboard-button actions. For example whin i hit space bar button it starts a calculation and so on.

Now i want to do this with a USB pedal (foot) switch but before i order one must be sure that matlab can find / work with this device signal.

Does someone know if this work or can recommend a device?

That is not something I have investigated before, but I see that this one permits mapping the function of the pedal.
