Overview
Embedded Coder Support Package for Qualcomm Hexagon Processors enables you to generate efficient code using Library (QHL scalar processor) and Hexagon Vector eXtension (HVX vector processor) for the Hexagon Digital Signal Processor (DSP / NPU). You can also integrate your processors with third-party software such as Qualcomm Hexagon SDK.
This support package for the Hexagon DSP / NPU addresses several critical pain points in the development process, including compilation errors, the reliance on hand-written frameworks, manual numeric verification, and the challenge of tracing code back to the model.
You can use the DSP Blocks (FIR Filter/FIR Decimator/FFT/IFFT/Biquad Filter/SOS Filter etc), DSP Objects (FIR Filter/FIR Decimator/FFT/IFFT/SOSFilter etc), Math Operators (Add, Sub, Mul-elementwise, Scaling, Matrix Inverse, Comparators, Shift, etc), and Math functions (sin, cos, abs, sqrt, rsqrt, log, log2, log10 etc) blocks to generate optimized code through code replacement library (CRL).
You can also try to model algorithms in Simulink® or MATLAB® and generate code (Processor-in-Loop) to test performance.
Note: Support for machine learning is currently through the Hexagon Vector eXtension.
