Is it possible to import Visualization Toolkit files into MATLAB?

I would like to be able to import files produced by the Visualization Toolkit (VTK)?

The ability to import files produced by the Visualization Toolkit is not available in the native versions of MATLAB or the Image Processing Toolbox.

To work around this issue, you could use third party libraries or File Exchange submissions. A list of third party tools/files for this purpose are provided below. Please note that these files are not developed or tested by our engineers and hence we would not be able to provide support for these applications.
