Why do I receive the following error: Could not find file '..\Manage​dCPPAPI.ne​tmodule' in MATLAB Builder NE 2009b?

I wrote a MATLAB function that I am deploying as a .NET assembly to a web server. I am running on Microsoft Windows Server 2003. Everything works fine on the development machine. When I move to another machine with the same configuration, the .NET assembly doesn't work, even though I just installed MCR on that machine. Instead, I get the following error:

Error   1   Unable to copy file "..\MatlabLib\ManagedCPPAPI.netmodule" to "bin\Debug\ManagedCPPAPI.netmodule". Could not find file '..\MatlabLib\ManagedCPPAPI.netmodule'.   TestingMatlab.NET

Since you just installed the MCR on the target machine, you need to restart that machine for all the changes to the system environment (PATH variable) to propagate to the IIS server.
