Suggestion for purchase an IP camera

I am currently doing a project on video processing that use image acquisition toolbox. For that i need an IP camera. Any specific camera that can easily compatible with matlab? What are the specification should I note when purchasing an IP camera to connect with Matlab?

Many manufacturers provide IP cameras that are compatible with MATLAB. The IP cameras from the following manufacturers have been tested with MATLAB. For more information, please visit the relevant vendor links below.

• Foscam
• Dlink
• Trendnet
• Hikvision
• Vivotek
• Axis
• Sony

Please note that any camera supporting MJPEG over HTTP will work with the IP camera object. For more information on connecting to IP cameras, please see the documentation.
