There is no visualization in the animation window mechanics explorers?

20 visualizaciones (últimos 30 días)
Hi! I Decided to start using SimMechanics and faced with the problem of visualization in Mechanics Explorers. As an example, open a standard project Robot Arm Model and run it. Robot animation is not shown.
What's the problem?
Windows 7, MatLab/Simulink 2013b x64, SimMechanics 4.3. Intel Core i5, Nvidia GTX 660 Ti.
Thanks!

Hi Aleksandr,
you can switch of the visualization in the Mechanics Explorer. Just have a look at the attached screenshots.
  • Click the gear icon
  • Go to SimMechanics 2G -> Explorer and switch visualization on/off.
Best regards, Christoph

I faced the same challenge and this is how i solved it. Hopes it helps. Always ensure that the CAD models and the simscape multibody model are in the same current folder in matlab/simulink. Please refer to the screenshots below. As you can see from the current folder, the different parts of my CAD model (for example frame.SLDPRT) are in the same folder with the simscape multibody model (quadrotor_complete.slx).
Assuming all the above is in place and still the visualization is blank, then do the following with guidance from the screenshot attached; Choose a part of your model (in my case it were frame_1_RIGID), right click and then select show everything.

Did someone find the way to solve this problem? I have exactly the same situation. Visualization is just blank grey window.
I tried the thing that Arafat Mukasa proposed but it doesn't work.

Hi,gays,i have some solutions to solve this problem ~
1.Disabling the Geforce driver from device manager
2.Check the name of your simulink model, make sure there are no garbled codes. The following figures shows the specific check steps.
Hope to help those in need.

Mechanics Explorer doesn's seem to work if you are in Accelerator mode. Run simulation in normal mode and it should pop up. At least, that was the problem with my version.
