Communication with PC 104 pins

Is there anyway we can communicate with the PC 104 pins of the single board computer (SBC) using Matlab if its installed on the SBC?

Which operating system are you using on the SBC? Do you need read and write access to arbitrary individual pins? That kind of access seems doubtful to me.

I was planning on installing Windows XP or XPe ...what do you suggest? Actually I wanted to stack a PCB on my SBC...the PCB would consist of TLC 5923(LED driver), programmable gain amplifier and an ADC - ADS 1178....now I would like to know that to control the LED driver and PGA and the ADC through the SBC what exactly should be done? any help will be appreciated ....
