using quad wrong or is it removed?

it says that i can't use quad as it will be removed in a future release. Can this reall be true, og am i doing something wrong with quad??

there is a function called ln in Matlab, maybe you mean log

F=@(x) log(1+tan(x));
quad(F,0,pi/4)
