How can I activate keyboard shortcuts (e.g. ctrl-o) from the command window in R2013?

I use Matlab with the command window un-docked. In previous releases, many standard Windows keyboard shortcuts such as ctrl-o (to open a file) were available when typing in the command window. But in R2013, these shortcuts don't work. They only work if the active window is the main Matlab instance.

How can I get my shortcuts back??

Hey @Maestro, Type "preferences" in the command window. Then under Keyboard -> Shortcuts you can change the keyboard shortcuts.
