initialize level set function

Hi, I want to implement the level set code matlab to my medical image, but i don't understand the parameters of the IInitialLSF function to initialise the rectangle around the tumor.

% Initialize the level set function.
initialLSF = c0*ones(size(Img));
initialLSF(25:60, 40:50) = -c0;
u = initialLSF;
