Impoting workapce variables and exporting intermediate variable to workspace in ode

I have an ode with time varying coefficients and want them to be imported from workspace (the coefficients dont have a functional form so can't be modelled by an equation). And I have some intermediate variables used in calculation that I want to export to workspace at every time step not just at end of simulation.

Do you want to export the variables in the workspace or just in the function that calls the ode solver?
