I am trying to connect a converter model to a grid model. The problem is the grid model was created in old matlab version by using PowerSimSystem. The pictures show how it does not allow me to connect the switch (out side the subsystem) to the current sensor(inside subsystem). Is there any solution for this situation? Any suggestion for another blocks that I could use instead or with my model.

Because the blue line one and the black one from different library can't connect them together, try to find the same block from same library.

Hello Rawaa,
you can combine the two technologies as Pemendra says, there are four blocks with names like this "Voltage-Current
Simscape Interface"
However, combining specialized power systems with these blocks will yield a model that is hard to maintain and simulate. It is better to stay in one technology or the other. In this case, just build your new model using specialized power systems components instead of simscape componets. Specialized power systems is included in the Simscape electrical toolbox.
Regards,
Joel

Dear You can connect single phase voltage source from simelectrical-specialized technology- source. In between port 1 and 2 as shon your figure

Dear Rawaa Almajeez
I have upload the model on Mathwork for grid connected single phase PV system.
here i have used single phase source as a utility grid, you can downolad it via given linke below
