Is there any way that i can start the PMSM rotating at a starting speed when i run the model? I tried using the Machine Initialization tool in the Powergui, but it doesn't show my machine in the machine list. However, i can use this tool, if i use a synchronous or an asynchronous machine. Is there something wrong with the PMSG in simulink? Thanks.

Hello Alexis,
yes you can initialize your PMSG with the block itself. You can find the parameter when double clicking on the motor then go to the parameters tab and you will find at the bottom Initial conditions.
Here you can simulate the motor when already turning.
Hope this helps you out!
