how can return the valve from used function

hi, i have program contain several function one of this function have many variable as vector i measurement returnee one variable such as function [proj]= nnn[a1,a2,a3,....] body of function end display in work space only proj i need to display in workplace anther variable how can that please

You should probably read about functions . Note that in MATLAB all (non-hidden) variables are shown in your workspace, so you don't have to do anything special to see them. You can double-click to open them to view them in more detail. Local workspaces can be viewed using the debug tools . If you wish to print any values in your command window, you can use disp , fprintf , or simply not place a semi-colon after the function call:
