How to use MATLAB livewire segmentation code involving .dll in MacOS?

Dear All,

I have a question involving livewire segmentation code given in this source:

The code calls simplelw.dll file, which is crucial for execution of the code. I have the corresponding .dll file and also have the corresponding .mexw64 file. Is there any way to use the code in MacOS? What I understand is I need a version file equivalent to .dll or .mexw64. But, I am not sure whether it is possible to convert .dll or .mexw64 files to corresponding MacOS files without source code.

Any suggestion is welcome. Thanks in advance.
