Power Hardware in the Loop

Hello everybody,

i want to test a submodule for Modular Multilevel converter using PHIL in Matlab/Simulink. The MMC consist of 24 Submodule.

To interface the real time Simulator and Hardware under test (Submodule) , the ideal transformer Method (ITM) is used and to realise the test one Submodule has to replced by the controlled voltage Source.

How can i replace the SM with a controlled voltage Source.
