M1 Mac BLE not working

I'm having issues on my new M1 laptop with using BLE. Calling "blelist" times out not finding any devices where there should be plenty. Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a known workaround? Of course i allowed Matlab to use bluetooth.
Bluetooth Classic seems to work.

I have the same issue. Haven’t been able to find any solution so far.

I'm currently in coontact with the MATLAB dev team. They told me they cant tell me when its going to be fixed though.

Support suggested this:
"As a workaround for now, you can scan your devices by one of the services supported by the device and then connect to it. E.g.:
list = blelist("Services","Heart Rate")"
I don't completely understand what he means by that. Maybe you understand.

Exactly same issue. Maybe use the none M1 version.
