Getting error: "Undefined function 'tauchen' for input arguments of type 'struct'."

When I try and run the following I get the error "Undefined function 'tauchen' for input arguments of type 'struct'." :

clear

param.sigma=1;

param.rho=0.9;

param.n=7;

param.m=3;

Pi=tauchen(param).M;

lgrid=tauchen(param).lgrid;

This code is from a class tutorial and I watched the TA run it with no issues... I'm wondering if I am missing some kind of package needed to run this? Or could something else be causing this issue?

Yes, it looks like you're missing a function called "tauchen", or maybe you have it somewhere but it's not on the MATLAB path. Have a look around in places you might have saved it, and if you find it add the relevant directory to the path; if you don't find it, contact your TA or review the course materials to see where you might be able to download it from.

It doesn't appear to be part of any MATLAB toolbox.
