Hi all, I am developing a code that detects fire from images. I need to build a ground truth that define the range of fire colours that fall into one of the three regions, Red, orange and yellow to train the images. I have looked over the web by google " colours charts", colours shade, but couldn't find a clear definition for the colours. Also it doesn't make sense that I define them myself (although it is possible), but it is scientific. I am using RGB colour space, but don't mind to use any other colours space id necessary .

Then you should get a bunch of photos of fire and just measure them. Point to or outline areas of flames and then see that the hue values are. You should probably work in HSV color space because hue is independent of exposure level, unlike with RGB.
