Matlab Online Corruption with spawning variable "ans"

Everytime I log on to a matlab online session the variable ans spawns in. This is the value of ans.

com.mathworks.toolbox.distcomp.ui.desk.peer.SessionPeerModelManager@6b580b88

I can't execute anything in the command window and I can't run programs. It will just return another command line. Also, I have tried deleting the variable but that doesn't fix the issue of running programs. Also I am not sure about the release since I can't type ver in the command line.

How do I fix this?

Hey Shawn,

To my understanding, an ‘ans’ variable spawns in everytime you log on a MATLAB online session.

This was an issue that previously existed, but multiple issues have been fixed in the latest releases of MATLAB online. Please try upgrading to the latest version of MATLAB to resolve the issue.
