how to replace the image

my question is how to replace the the half cell image to the circle cell image.Can we create the result which have two full circle image.?.The example at link below.thanks

Try bwconvhull() in the Image Processing Toolbox.

it still not full circle enough.How can we adjust to make the full circle like other full circle in that image.?

Depends on what you want to do. Do you want to find its area and centroid place a circle at its centroid that is the same area as its area? Or the same area as the other circle? Or the same area as the convex hull? Or maybe you want to try Hough routines (search the Mathworks site for references and examples).
