ROS2 Bag Writer?

There appears to only be a rosbagwriter function for ROS log files but not ROS2 log files:

Does anyone know if you can use the rosbagwriter function to generator a log of ROS2 messages? If not, is there going to be a forthcoming ros2bagwriter function in a coming Matlab release? Thanks.

Nobody can usually tell you if there will be any specific code writtten to appear in a later release. If they do know, then they would be under a non-disclosure agreement. If they don't know, well, they don't know.

I appears as though this wasn't supported for R2022a, but the prerelease of R2022b has a new function ros2bagwriter object: https://www.mathworks.com/help/releases/R2022b/ros/ref/ros2bagwriter.html
