How to use "fast restart" in Simulink Desktop Real-Time mode?

I want to reduce calculation time in Simulink Desktop Real-Time mode, so I want to use "fast restart".

Is it possible to use "fast restart" in Simulink Desktop Real-Time mode?

Also I want to know the another way to make calculation time less.

Hi Toshiki,

you can run Simulink Desktop Real-Time models in Normal mode (uncompiled), and you can use Fast Restart in this mode. You need to start the model from the Simulation tab and use the Fast Restart control available there. Please see the sldrtex_vdp shipping example for using a model in Normal mode.

If you are asking about using Fast Restart in External mode (compiled), then this is not supported. The compiled real-time application cannot use Fast Restart.
