I want to simulate psf for a lens given that I have its focal length and diameter. basically how can I simulate a psf which depends on numerical aperture. As we know it should.

Dear Sahil,
It is my understanding that you wanted to learn about psf(point spread function) and wanted to simulate psf for lens.
Blur in images can occur due to factors like motion or an out-of-focus lens, and it is represented by a distortion operator called the point spread function (PSF). The PSF describes how light from a single point in the scene spreads out on the image, causing the blurring effect. You can refer to the below documentation for more information on deblurring:
A similar workaround to estimate the PSF of an optical system provided in the following MATLAB Answer:
I hope the workaround helps you in simulating psf. If the issue persists, provide more details about the[PA1] specific issue you are encountering, along with any relevant code or error messages.
Regards,
Pooja Kumari
