How to convert mnist dataset .txt file to .mat file?

Hello, I have to convert the text file ,that I am adding, to .mat file immediately.

I searched a lot about but ı couldnt do it correclty. Anyone could help me please immediately?

Why not just:

r=readtable('mnistdata.txt');
r.Properties.VariableNames={'Name','Size','Bytes','Class'};
save r;
