Hi, I have an .exe file to be use to run my code. I'm able to run my code parallelly with 4 workers(parfor) perfectly in the matlab compiler. However, when I switch to the .exe and run it in the terminal, it seems like it is not activating the parfor loop but instead continuing with the normal for loop. What can I do with this?? Do I need an additional license for this?

You shouldn't need anything additional. Maybe try explicitly calling parpool in your code before the parfor loop?

@Yi Xien Yap can you explain what you mean by running the workers find in the MATLAB Compiler, but not the EXE? Do you mean the parfor loops runs fine via the MATLAB Desktop?
And how do you know the compiled version doesn't run the for-loop in parallel? Can you be sure the compiled version is running correctly? And that it is hitting the for-loop?
